Session Summaries

What Are Session Summaries?

Session Summaries provide an AI-powered reflection on each journaling session. They help you track progress, visualize emotions, and leave each session with actionable clarity.

Why Session Summaries Matter:
After every journaling session, Justly analyzes your entry and generates a comprehensive summary that helps you:

  • Understand your emotional state more clearly
  • Identify patterns and themes in your thoughts
  • Get actionable next steps for continued growth
  • Track your progress over time

When You’ll See Them:
Session summaries appear automatically after you complete any journaling session—whether it’s a Morning, Evening, Guided, or Open journal entry.

What’s Included in a Session Summary?

  1. Mood Tracking – Justly detects your dominant emotional tone for the session, showing it visually as part of your long-term emotional pattern.
  2. AI-Generated Photo – A snapshot generated by AI that reflects the emotional atmosphere of your session.
  3. Perspective Summary – A concise, user-focused rewrite of your entry highlighting key moments.
  4. Struggles Identified – Recurring stress points, conflicts, or emotional blocks are highlighted.
  5. Emotional Stats – Positivity, Clarity, Calmness, Happiness, and Resilience metrics.
  6. Achievements (Task Completion) – Highlights completed tasks or milestones.
  7. Next Steps (Actionable Tasks) – Suggestions for next journaling prompts or wellness activities.

Editing Session Summaries

Session summaries are generated automatically after each journaling session, but you can always make adjustments to ensure your reflections are accurate and personally meaningful. Editing allows you to clarify events, add forgotten insights, or adjust how key moments are described.

To edit a session summary, simply open the summary you’d like to update and click the “Edit” button. You can modify the Perspective Summary or add your own notes. After saving your changes, the updated summary will be available instantly and better reflect your experience.
