Should I use voice, text, or video journaling?

All formats work great—choose what feels most natural to you.

Text Journaling:

  • Best for: Quick entries, detailed thoughts, when you prefer writing
  • Advantages: Easy to edit, searchable, works in any environment

Voice Journaling:

  • Best for: Expressing emotions naturally, when typing is difficult, capturing tone
  • Advantages: Faster than typing, more natural expression, hands-free

Video Journaling:

  • Best for: Capturing full emotional context, visual expression
  • Advantages: Most complete picture of your emotional state

Pro Tip: Try all three formats to see which resonates with you. Many users switch between formats based on their mood or situation. You can even combine formats in a single session!
